1. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and INTERSTATE LOGISTICS SERVICES INC ("Trucker English," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using Trucker English, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be legally able to enter this agreement and comply with applicable law, employer rules, facility rules, and the applicable Apple or Google terms. Trucker English is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
2. The Trucker English service
Trucker English provides commercial-driver English practice through a Simplified Chinese or Spanish support interface. Free lessons and available samples may be used without creating an account. Claiming the account AI trial, purchasing, restoring Pro access, online AI and account management require an internet connection and platform sign-in: Apple on iOS, or Google where offered on Android. Availability depends on your installed version and store.
Interface language and course progress are stored locally and are not currently synchronized with the membership account. They may be lost when the app is deleted, reset, or replaced.
3. Accounts and purchase binding
Keep your device and Trucker English session secure. You may not share a session, use another person’s membership, impersonate another person, or attempt to bind the same store entitlement to unrelated Trucker English accounts.
You can sign out or delete the Trucker English account from the app. Account deletion revokes Trucker English sessions and removes or de-identifies the account, entitlement association, and account-linked AI usage records as described in the Privacy Policy. Limited keyed-hash replay, purchase-lifecycle, and quota records remain under that policy’s retention conditions to prevent deletion and recreation from bypassing security controls. Apple account deletion first revokes Sign in with Apple authorization. An older account may require reauthentication with the same Apple account. If revocation fails, deletion is not completed and the app asks you to retry; it does not report success or remove the server account. Deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription or erase the store’s transaction history. Cancel the subscription separately if you do not want the next renewal. Deleting a Google-linked Trucker English account does not delete your Google Account or revoke other Google services.
4. Trucker English Pro purchases
Same entitlement, different purchase options
Monthly, quarterly, and annual subscriptions and available one-time passes provide the same Trucker English Pro feature entitlement. They differ in duration, renewal behavior, price, and any store offer shown before purchase. Selecting a longer period does not create a different service tier. The applicable store purchase sheet displays the controlling local price, currency, duration, taxes, and offer terms.
Apple one-time passes: no automatic renewal
A one-time pass lasts 30 days, three calendar months, or one calendar year from the original purchase time verified by Apple. It does not renew or charge again automatically. Access ends at its recorded expiration unless another valid purchase provides access. Restoring, reinstalling, or signing in again does not restart or extend that period. Calendar periods use UTC; if the ending month lacks the original day, the period ends on that month’s last valid day.
The auto-renewal checkbox selects the product for a new purchase only. Unchecking it or buying a pass does not cancel an existing subscription. Manage that subscription separately through Apple. The dates at the top of this policy are not your purchase or access start dates.
Apple payment and automatic renewal
Payment is charged to the Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed. A subscription renews automatically for its selected period until canceled through Apple. Renewal pricing and timing are governed by the information Apple displays and the terms applicable to your Apple Account. Trucker English does not receive your full payment-card number.
Account AI trial and Google Play
Your first verified account login starts 24 hours of free AI access without a purchase. Expiry does not automatically buy a subscription. The server records the period once per login identity. Reinstallation, sign-out or account recreation does not restart it. After expiry, online AI requires valid paid access; free lessons and offline practice remain available. Fair-use limits apply during both trial and membership. This grant is separate from any store introductory offer.
Where offered on Android, Google sign-in and Google Play support monthly, quarterly and annual subscriptions. These renew automatically until canceled in Google Play; the store confirmation shows the actual local price and period. Deleting your app account does not cancel store billing. Apple and Google identities create separate app accounts and are not merged by email.
Optional store promotions are separate
An additional store promotion applies only if the store actually offers it for your selected product and confirms eligibility. Do not assume a promotional trial if no offer is available. Any auto-renewing subscription you choose and confirm follows the renewal price, date and cancellation terms on the purchase sheet. It does not change the separate account AI trial or make that account trial require a purchase.
If you separately accept an Apple subscription promotion and do not want the next charge, Apple advises canceling its promotional trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Follow the offer terms and cancellation instructions shown by Apple.
Restore, manage, cancel, and refunds
Use Restore Purchases in Trucker English while signed in to the Trucker English account that should receive the entitlement and the Apple Account used for the purchase. Restore recovers only the remaining valid period; it does not undo a refund or revocation. One-time passes require an app version that supports those products. You can manage or cancel the subscription in Apple subscription settings. Cancellation prevents a future renewal but normally does not end access before the current paid period expires.
Apple processes App Store refund requests and determines eligibility under Apple’s policies and applicable law. Trucker English cannot issue an App Store refund directly or guarantee that a request is approved or denied. A refunded or revoked purchase no longer provides Pro access; another valid purchase is not canceled by that refund. See Apple Report a Problem.
For Google Play purchases, use the same Google store account and Trucker English login when restoring. Manage or cancel in Google Play subscriptions. Refund requests follow Google Play refund policies and applicable law; you may also contact support. Approval is not guaranteed. Cancellation does not itself reverse a completed payment.
Use of the iOS app is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, except to the extent another applicable agreement controls.
5. Driver Miles
Eligible signed-in users can claim a stated number of Driver Miles after completing the day’s training action. Claims use a UTC day boundary and are limited to one successful claim per account per day. The app shows the balance, cost, and confirmation before a reward is redeemed.
Driver Miles are promotional, non-transferable in-app points. They have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and cannot buy, extend, replace, or discount paid membership on either store. Current redemptions are limited to profile visual collectibles, not streak protection, app features, or paid access. We may reasonably correct duplicate or fraudulent entries and may change future earning opportunities or catalog items without removing a reward that was already validly unlocked.
6. AI tools and fair use
The unified assistant supports driver questions, multi-turn practice, alternative question forms, three reference-answer lengths and optional trip notes. Online AI is available only when the server confirms a signed-in Trucker English account, an active account AI trial or valid paid membership, the applicable data-sharing permission, and an available usage allowance. Pro does not promise unconditional, automated, continuous, or unlimited model usage.
To keep the service available and control misuse and cost, Trucker English may enforce reasonable request-size, message-count, output, rate, concurrency, daily usage, model, safety, and service-capacity limits. A request may be delayed or refused when a limit is reached, an entitlement cannot be verified, a provider is unavailable, or safe operation requires it. These controls apply equally to subscriptions and one-time passes, and also apply during the free account trial.
DeepSeek generates replies. Speaking-practice text, trip notes, conversation context and proposed questions, answers and feedback also receive a consistency check by DeepSeek through our Vercel-hosted server, with your assistant-chat permission before sending. Photos remain with the separately authorized DeepSeek image service. Each generation, check or necessary retry counts toward AI usage; a failed request can still consume reserved use. These checks are intended to reduce unsupported statements but do not verify your real documents, confirm compliance or guarantee accuracy. Review the facts in every suggested answer before using it.
AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information, system secrets, payment details, or content you do not have the right to provide. You retain rights you have in your input and authorize Trucker English and its service providers to process it only as needed to provide, secure, and support the requested feature and comply with law.
Optional microphone input is on-device transcription, not a pronunciation test. Review the text before sending it. Practice suggestions address the submitted wording and may be wrong; they are not official scores, certification, or a pass guarantee. Saved sentences and self-rated review intervals are learning aids, not verified skill or readiness results. Clearly labeled offline examples are authored demonstrations, not live AI responses or evidence of an outcome for another driver.
7. Training, roadside, and breakdown limits
Trucker English is an educational communication aid. It is not legal, DOT, regulatory, immigration, employment, safety, or compliance advice, emergency service, mechanical diagnosis, roadside assistance provider, or dispatch service. It does not replace official instructions, current regulations, employer procedures, a qualified mechanic, emergency responders, or professional advice.
Roadside-stop help provides short phrases for communication and explains English you type or paste when preparing or reviewing afterward. An explanation preserves the other speaker’s words; it is not your answer or legal guidance. You remain responsible for responding personally and truthfully, following the officer’s current instructions, and stopping use when device use or assistance is not permitted. The app must not be used to conceal information, evade an inspection, fabricate an answer, replace an English-language-proficiency assessment, or obtain legal strategy.
CDL skills-test scenarios are independently authored practice based on public Federal skill areas. They are not actual exam questions, an examiner script or scoring guide, ELDT certification, government approval, or a guarantee of passing. Testing procedures vary by State; follow the current CDL manual and examiner directions from your licensing State.
Breakdown output describes visible observations, unknowns, safer next steps, and a mechanic-ready summary. It cannot determine whether a vehicle is safe to drive. Obey the app’s stop-driving warnings, use emergency services for immediate danger, and have a qualified person inspect the vehicle. Do not submit photos of people, officers, IDs, permits, license plates, VINs, or private documents.
Use interactive lessons and all AI tools only when safely parked. Never hold, read, or operate the device while driving. Follow all traffic, hands-free-device, workplace, facility, and safety requirements.
Independent repair services and personal notes
Our free repair tools provide independently written language cards, external contact links, and personal notes. They are not a live directory feed, booking system, dispatch service, or mechanical inspection. Third-party names identify external destinations only and do not imply affiliation, endorsement, certification, or a service guarantee by Trucker English.
An external website or directory applies its own terms and privacy policy. A listing may be sponsored or out of date. Opening a website, map, or phone interface does not submit a request or confirm that anyone has accepted it. Contact the provider directly to verify commercial-vehicle capability, coverage, availability, arrival estimate, call-out and towing charges, parts, labor, taxes, and cancellation terms. Confirm any required fleet, rental, warranty, or insurance authorization before authorizing work or payment.
Repair services and their charges are separate from the Pro subscription; the app does not collect a repair payment. A saved quote, arrival time, work-order reference, or approval limit is your unverified personal note, not a confirmed booking, binding quotation, or authorization sent to a provider. Ask the provider to confirm any agreement directly, preferably in writing. Do not treat a map route or AI output as clearance to drive a damaged vehicle. Contact emergency services for immediate danger and a qualified professional for inspection or repair.
We do not reproduce these providers' business databases in the app. Local storage, explicit sharing, and deletion limits are explained in the Privacy Policy. These descriptions do not waive any consumer right or liability that applicable law does not permit to be waived.
8. Acceptable use
You may not:
- use Trucker English for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent conduct;
- submit threatening, abusive, exploitative, deceptive, or infringing material;
- probe, bypass, replay, disable, or interfere with accounts, purchase binding, subscription checks, safety controls, rate limits, or service infrastructure;
- use bots, scraping, bulk automation, or excessive requests to access AI or extract Trucker English content;
- reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or copy the service except where applicable law expressly permits it; or
- access another person’s account or entitlement without authorization.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the service, enforce these terms, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or preserve reliability.
9. Trucker English materials and license
Trucker English, its course organization, text, graphics, software, and other materials are owned by or licensed to INTERSTATE LOGISTICS SERVICES INC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms grant a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the service for its intended training purpose.
10. Internal TestFlight testing
A TestFlight build is pre-release software for evaluation and feedback. It may contain errors, change without notice, stop working, or reset local progress, accounts, or test entitlements. Test features may differ from a later public version.
TestFlight in-app purchases use Apple’s sandbox. They are test transactions and should not charge your real payment method. Sandbox renewals and expirations may occur on an accelerated schedule controlled by Apple. Do not rely on a test transaction for continued production access.
11. Availability and changes
We may update, add, remove, limit, or discontinue features to improve Trucker English, address security or legal needs, manage capacity or cost, or respond to provider changes. We do not guarantee that the app, any lesson, or AI service will always be available or error-free.
12. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Trucker English is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, INTERSTATE LOGISTICS SERVICES INC and its personnel and providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; lost profits or data; business interruption; or decisions made in reliance on training or AI output. Rights and liabilities that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Trucker English changes. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app, this page, or another appropriate channel. If you do not agree, stop using the service and cancel future subscription renewals in the applicable store.
