What the app includes

When reporting a problem, include the app version and build shown in Profile, the approximate time, operating-system version, and the on-screen request ID or exact error. Do not send tokens, passwords, JWS values, or card details.
Sign in, sign out, and delete the account
Do free lessons require an account?
No. You can use the available free lessons while signed out. Trial access, purchase, restore, online AI and account management require Apple sign-in on iOS, or Google where offered on Android. Availability depends on your installed version. Apple and Google logins create separate accounts; the same email does not merge their trial or purchases.
What should I do if Apple sign-in fails?
- Confirm the device has an internet connection.
- Confirm you are signed in to an Apple Account in iOS.
- Close and reopen Trucker English, then try once more.
- If it still fails, email the time, iOS version, app version, and the exact error or request ID.
What if Google sign-in or a Play plan is missing?
Google sign-in and billing are available only in supported Android releases. Update through the official distribution channel and use the intended Google account. If a service or plan is not offered in your version or region, do not assume it is available or that a purchase succeeded. Free offline lessons remain available. Contact support with the version, time and visible error if needed.
How do I sign out?
Open Profile, find the Trucker English account card, and choose Sign Out. This removes the session from the device and revokes it at Trucker English. Device-local course progress remains unless you delete or reset the app.
How do I delete my Trucker English account?
- Open Profile and the Trucker English account card.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Read the warning and confirm the second prompt.
- For an Apple-linked account, authorization is revoked first. An older account may ask you to verify the same Apple account again; this does not start another trial.
- The app revokes the session and requests deletion or de-identification of the Trucker English identity, membership and reward links, and account-linked AI usage records. Limited keyed-hash replay, subscription-security, quota, and Apple notification audit records remain as described in the Privacy Policy so deletion cannot bypass fraud or duplicate-processing controls.
If Apple revocation or server deletion fails, the account is kept and the app asks you to retry. It does not report deletion as completed. A successful server deletion can still report a separate local-data cleanup failure. Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription. Cancel in the original store to stop renewal.

You can email a request to delete your Trucker English account and associated data without reinstalling the app. State whether you use Apple or Google and include an existing request or account ID if available. We verify account ownership before acting. Do not send passwords, login tokens, full payment details or identity documents. The Privacy Policy explains limited retained security records. Store subscriptions must be canceled separately.

How do subscriptions and one-time passes differ?
Both unlock the same Pro entitlement. Subscriptions renew monthly, quarterly, or annually until canceled in the original Apple or Google Play store, where offered. One-time passes last 30 days, three calendar months, or one calendar year from the original purchase time verified by Apple, then expire without an automatic charge. Calendar periods use UTC and clamp to the last valid day of the ending month when needed. One-time passes are an iOS purchase option. The applicable store purchase sheet controls the localized price and terms. AI use on every plan is subject to the same fair-use and safety controls.
How does the one-day free trial work?
Your first verified login starts one 24-hour account AI trial. No purchase is required, and expiry does not automatically buy a subscription. The server records the period; signing out, reinstalling, switching devices or recreating the same login identity does not restart it. The trial has usage limits. When it expires, valid paid membership is required for online AI; offline lessons, exercises and repair search remain free. Any additional store promotion is separate: it applies only if the store actually offers it and confirms eligibility. Do not assume a promotional trial if no offer is available. A subscription you deliberately buy follows its own displayed renewal terms.
How do I restore an active purchase?
- Sign in to the Trucker English account that should receive Pro access.
- Confirm the device uses the Apple or Google store account that made the purchase.
- Open the membership card and tap Restore Purchases.
- Keep the app online until the store and Trucker English finish verifying and synchronizing the entitlement.
If the purchase is already bound to another Trucker English account, do not create more accounts to bypass the message. Sign back into the original account or contact support.
Restore does not restart or extend a pass. It checks the remaining period and current store refund or revocation state. Update the app before restoring one-time passes; older versions may not recognize those products.
How do I manage or cancel?
The auto-renewal checkbox only selects the product for a new purchase. Unchecking it or buying a one-time pass does not cancel an existing subscription. Use Manage Subscription from the membership card or open Apple’s subscription instructions. Cancellation stops the next renewal but normally leaves access available until the current period ends. One-time passes do not require cancellation to prevent another automatic charge.
For Google Play, open Manage Subscription from the Android membership card or follow Google Play cancellation instructions. Deleting the app or account does not stop recurring charges.
How do I request a refund?
Apple processes App Store payments and refund requests. Trucker English cannot issue the refund directly. Submit the request at Apple Report a Problem. Apple decides eligibility under its policies and applicable law; we cannot guarantee approval or denial. A refunded or revoked purchase stops providing access, without canceling a different valid purchase.
For a Google Play purchase, follow Google Play refund instructions or contact Trucker English support. Eligibility depends on the purchase, applicable policy and law; approval is not guaranteed. Canceling renewal is separate from requesting a refund.
Does Trucker English receive my card number?
No. Apple or Google Play processes the store payment method. Trucker English receives purchase and entitlement information, not the full credit-card or debit-card number.
Driver Miles
How does the daily reward work?
Complete an eligible training card, then claim once for the current UTC day. The signed-in account is the authority for the balance and streak, so changing the phone clock or reinstalling the app does not create another claim.
Can Driver Miles buy Pro membership?
No. Driver Miles have no cash value and cannot purchase, extend, replace, or discount paid membership on either store. They unlock only the non-paid items shown in the reward catalog, such as profile badges and visual collectibles; they do not protect streaks or unlock paid features.
AI tools, access, and privacy
If the trial or Pro access has ended
You can continue using offline lessons, safety information, and map search without subscribing. If you want continued online AI access, open the membership card. The applicable store purchase sheet shows the controlling localized price and renewal terms before you confirm.
If Pro is active but AI is locked
- Confirm you are signed in to the intended Trucker English account.
- Confirm the device is online.
- Open the membership card and use Restore Purchases.
- Return to the selected AI tool and try again.
- If the message says a usage limit was reached, wait for the displayed reset or retry time. Buying a longer plan does not bypass the fair-use limit.
Use the microphone, then Send
While safely parked, choose English, Mandarin Chinese, or Spanish, tap the microphone, and grant the requested device permissions. Tap again to stop, review or edit the text, then tap Send. Nothing is sent just because you dictate. Capture stops within 30 seconds or when you leave the tool or background the app. Use the keyboard if that language's on-device recognition is unavailable; there is no cloud-transcription fallback.
One assistant for work questions and practice
Type or dictate what you need in the assistant. It can help with pickup, delivery, roadside English or a breakdown description. Practice supports multiple turns, different ways to ask a question and short, standard or full reference answers. Add optional trip notes only if you want that context included. Confirm that any suggested personal facts match your situation.
Practice suggestions and saved review
English practice can suggest a clearer sentence and a short explanation alongside the next role-play question. These are text suggestions, not pronunciation scores. Save a useful sentence to your account's local review list (up to 50), listen and self-rate it, or choose it for another online practice. Local review does not require active Pro; online AI requires an active account trial or valid paid membership. Delete a sentence or clear your list in the review panel. The list does not sync between devices. AI-home offline examples can be explored before opening the membership options.
What is sent to the AI provider?
Assistant chat, practice, roadside-stop text, breakdown text, and breakdown photos each have a stated purpose. The app blocks the first send for that purpose until you explicitly agree. After permission, Trucker English validates the session, trial or membership, and usage allowance, then sends only the content needed for the tool. It does not send Apple or Google identity tokens, authorization codes, refresh tokens, Apple JWS, Google purchase tokens, app-account tokens, Trucker English sessions, or payment-card details to the model.
The assistant includes recent conversation, optional trip notes and practice progress in the request to DeepSeek. Speaking-practice text, trip notes and proposed questions, answers and feedback are also sent to DeepSeek through our Vercel-hosted server for a consistency check, with your assistant-chat permission. Photos are separately confirmed and sent only to DeepSeek. Each check and necessary retry also counts toward AI usage. A failed request can consume reserved use; a rejection before access or quota authorization does not. Checks do not guarantee factual accuracy or verify documents.
Trucker English does not save AI conversation or photo bodies in its membership database. Avoid sensitive or confidential information. Never submit a photo of a person, officer, license, permit, plate, VIN, payment information, or private document. You may refuse or withdraw each permission and continue using offline lessons and offline roadside phrases. See the Privacy Policy for the full data flow.
If photo analysis is unavailable
Continue with the typed breakdown description and the offline safety checklist. A photo result is observational help, not a mechanical diagnosis or statement that the vehicle is safe to drive. To find service, enter a city or ZIP and open the search in Apple Maps on iOS or Google Maps on Android; the app does not require continuous location access.
TestFlight support
Optional TestFlight builds use Apple’s sandbox purchase environment. Sandbox transactions should not charge a real payment method and may renew or expire on an accelerated Apple schedule. TestFlight accounts, entitlements, and local progress can be reset as the test build changes.
If an invitation says it is invalid or revoked, use only the newest invitation and the Apple Account associated with the invited App Store Connect user. Ask the developer to resend the current invitation rather than reusing an older email.
Safety and training limits
Trucker English is an educational communication aid, not legal, DOT, regulatory, safety, employment, immigration or compliance advice, emergency service, dispatch, or mechanical diagnosis. AI can be incomplete or wrong. Verify requirements with official sources, the officer, your employer, or a qualified mechanic.
CDL skills-test practice is independently written and aligned to public Federal skill areas. It is not an official question bank, examiner script, scoring guide, ELDT certificate, or pass guarantee. Follow the current CDL manual and examiner directions from your licensing State.
Use interactive lessons and every AI tool only when safely parked. During a stop, respond personally and truthfully, follow the officer’s current directions, and stop using the app if assistance is not permitted. For a breakdown, follow any stop-driving or emergency warning and do not rely on AI to decide that a vehicle is safe. Never hold, read, or operate the device while driving.
